The Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) population 1/ increased from 102,127 in 1970 to 128,921 in 2010. That was an increase of 26.2 percent.
The foreign-born (FB) population increased from 2,688 in 1970 to 3,052 in 2010. That was an increase of 13.5 percent. The foreign-born share changed from 2.6 percent to 2.4 percent.
The share of the overall population that was native-born (NB) increased by 26.6 percent.

The second chart shows the same data but with an adjustment to reflect births to immigrants shifted to NIM. In it, the same shifting pattern remained, except NIM was the sole source of added population in the most recent period.
